I’m a South African and will bbq (braai) all year round. Xmas turkey is done on the Weber! This is by far the best charcoal I have found in the UK (after 30 years of trying out various coals & wood). The packaging was spot on (no plastic in sight). The delivery was next day. I couldn’t ask for anything better!

I always buy the starter kit because that’s the best value. The firelighters are great, and the kindling gets the charcoal ready to go in 20 mins or so. The coals produce very little smoke once properly alight, and leave no noticeable taste on food, except that great Smokey flavour that we all love…yummy! This is a natural product. It doesn’t have accelerant’s, and isn’t made of compressed charcoal dust. It’s bits of tree, so it’s all different shapes and sizes. I love it for that. If I use it with my smoker to cook something low and slow it’ll keep running for 8-9 hours without a refuel.
Delivery is always great. A big box turns up usually the next day. The box never has a dirty leak or damage, and inside are my bags of charcoal and anything else I’ve ordered. I guess it sounds like lots of money for charcoal, but honestly you need to look at the weight. It’s actually a real bargain. I’ve tried all makes and types. This really is the best I have ever found, and I won’t be looking for another supplier.
