Logpile was born from a passion for wood - from glorious wood fires and crackling firepits, to pizzas cooked on wood and sizzling BBQs fired with our sustainable charcoal.

Started just a few years ago, Logpile.com is now a fast-growing team of wood obsessives (and master logpile stackers!) who are on a mission to supply great quality wood, whilst operating to the highest environmental standards possible.

So, meet Shaun and Matt, owners of Logpile, and total tree experts! Shaun and his son Matt have been working in the tree industry for a combined 32 years, giving them the knowledge to be able to produce not only the best quality firewood, but also the most responsibly sourced firewood possible.

We source all of our wood, ensuring that the trees we process have only been felled as part of maintaining healthy & diverse forests. We split and dry the wood into logs ourselves, with high standards of quality control over size and moisture content. We package all our firewood into planet-friendly packaging, using as little plastic as possible.

Lots of firewood companies import wood from other countries 000s of miles away, which contributes to environmental issues like carbon miles and deforestation.  By choosing Logpile, you can be assured that your logs have all been sourced within the UK, as close to Logpile HQ as possible.  Most of our firewood is sourced from within South Downs National Park and is only felled as part of woodland management schemes.
