Logpile was born from a passion for wood - from glorious wood fires and crackling firepits, to pizzas cooked on wood and sizzling BBQs fired with our sustainable charcoal.

Started just a few years ago, Logpile.com is now a fast-growing team of wood obsessives (and master logpile stackers!) who are on a mission to supply great quality wood, whilst operating to the highest environmental standards possible.

So, meet Shaun and Matt, owners of Logpile, and total tree experts! Shaun and his son Matt have been working in the tree industry for a combined 32 years, giving them the knowledge to be able to produce not only the best quality firewood, but also the most responsibly sourced firewood possible.

We carefully source our wood, ensuring that the trees used have been felled as part of efforts to maintain healthy and diverse forests. The wood is split and dried into logs with high standards of quality control for size and moisture content. We package all of our firewood ourselves, into planet friendly packaging, using as little plastic as possible.

Many firewood companies import all of their wood from thousands of miles away, contributing to environmental issues like carbon emissions and deforestation. At Logpile, we prioritise sustainability by sourcing the majority of our logs from within the UK, as close to Logpile HQ as possible. Much of our firewood comes from the South Downs National Park and is carefully selected as part of woodland
management schemes.
