Reading online I found everyone said ash was the way to go, however after talking with logpile about how to improve my burn time being a newbie they told me birch was actually better for fire pits and outdoor fires. I had started a subscription but the changed this for me on their end to the correct wood. My delivery was fast, firelighters and kindling work fabulously.. it's all very smooth sailing Thankyou
